IU vs Northwood Post-Game Thread

No one has mentioned it but Collin Hartman does not "have it". He is an average mid major player at best. I will give him some benefit of the doubt due to his injury but Etherington was a far superior player to Hartman. If by chance Hartman were to transfer for PT, no way he ends up at a Butler-esque school.

His Defense was atrocious. Had decent spacing and decent passing but did nothing else offensively. But, man, that D was really bad.

I like that he is a hard worker, and seemingly a clean student. I hope he surprises me in his career.

Agree with you here with the exception that I didn't find Etherington a much better player than Hartman. Same caliber players IMO.

He is also a member of the "scared to shoot squad". Hartman looks terrified out there. I don't see Etherington as a better player. Basically the same player

Anyone notice the play where the ball was whipped out of bounds and April snagged it out of thin air with minimal reaction? I did.... Promising if you ask me.

I wouldn't read much into it. It went right to him like a chest pass

yeah, agree. As far as Hartman vs Etherington it is an athleticism thing. Etherington is much more adept on D and keeping with his man etc. Hartman looks like a classic walk on type player. He is lost defensively and gets turned around on damn near every crossover.

But remember--Hartman is still rehabbing from a major injury.

He actually played better than I expected at this point.
