Can't schools provide up to a $3,000 per month "stipend" for athletes? Maybe he was getting $$ for housing as well? If he was a walkon couldn't he "work" for the university as well?

There are many different ways money could go into his account, legally.

From what I understand the amount they get for rent is equal to what room/board is on-campus. At IU it's around $10,000 for the year. I'm sure they save some of that money by living together but I'm not seeing a way that they're pocketing the kind of money Dakich is talking about.

The "Way" is, don't trust the rules when it comes to NCAABB.

Rules are meant to be bent and broken. It's not the same from one university to another. Or one sport to another.

I don't doubt that schools find ways around the rules, but if that's what he's talking about it seems dumb to broadcast publicly imo.

This is what I was talking about in the Austin Boucher recruiting thread.
Racism against white players exists in basketball, particularly when you have a COACH that thinks like lavar ball..

WayneFleek was witness to this for 6 years.

It's lazy thinking. Evaluate each player and don't let generalities lead to blanket thinking.
