This game goes a long way toward Gregg Marshall winning his 19th conference championship in 19 seasons. I want him.

FIRE HIM! This is embarrassing

Only 3 of 10 teams in the MVC have a winning record in conference. MVC is way down this year

Got it. U mean his 6 big south conference championships and 7 big south conference tournament championships included in the 19 championships so wouldn't be 19 seasons because he would of won regular season and tourney in same year on some of those. Very impressive I would just like to see it in a conference where he would have to worry about beating the whole conference instead of a handful of teams each year

I am glad he won't leave that conference. He built his ability to be comfortable there. He has done a good job.

He will leave for a high major, but he said he will only leave for a school that can compete at the top of the conference. So he isnt going to go to Iowa or Bama. However, I could see him at schools like Ohio St, Indiana, Texas, UCLA, etc. He is from the Southeast, so maybe he gets closer to home if he decides he wants that.

UK fans have to be terrified at the chance that they could play an elite defensive team in the tourney, Cause there is no chance they'd beat them. If they can't score, they aren't winning.

IU fans are terrified of the same types of teams....

He is 53 and will turn 54 in a couple of weeks. Got a big raise after his final four run and didn't leave after his peak. He isn't leaving that school. He shouldn't either. It's comfortable.

I understand Josh has wanted him for a few years bad. I respect that. There isn't many that do. Same as me with Holtman. I would put him near the top after the obvious neck and neck with Archie. Those 3 names aren't exciting many. I truly don't see Marshall going anywhere or he would have already. Solid for where he is. There just isn't an abundance of good young coaches with head coaching experience.

I think Marshall is an improvement so I'd definitely take him, but he's not a home run hire IMO.  More like a solid, pretty well hit double.  He'd be on the call list, but a second group at best.

He could coach for another 20 years. He will leave if a good job opens that he wants. It was rumored he showed interest in us a couple years ago but Fred didnt pull the trigger. He may stay at WSU but if a UNC, UCLA, or other bkue blood come calling.....
