You hear so much of the same stuff about Dusty - he's freakishly obsessed with basketball, constantly learning, similar offensive philosophy. I just think Bama plays too fast for my liking. Oats' teams have been top 16 in the nation in pace for the past 7 years. In a tournament setting it only takes one disciplined defensive team to take you out of that. I'm a firm believer that you can't have a gimmick in a tournament setting - can't be too reliant on any one thing. Playing too fast (Bama) or too slow (UVA) leaves you susceptible to running into one team that can expose that. Sh*t, that's been Purdue's problem as they have been over-reliant on the post. Dusty's pace hovers right around 150, a perfect sweet spot. Game to game they can play fast or slow depending on what beats you.

I suppose if this is the direction things are going then I hope he’s right.

Could the Dusty talk derail FAU's season?

You gotta read between the lines ...

An owl is a bird!

He's staying put until next year, when Woody takes a walk. Then Dusty makes a triumphant return to B-town!!!

Maryland has seemingly given up on Willard. This is fugly.

Ugly as it gets. A team that’s quit meeting a team that’s making everything.

Maryland kid bringing ball upcourt commits a blatant over-and-back violation.  Dribbled into the frontcourt, then stepped back over while shaking and baking -- twice.

Official is standing right there. Swallows whistle.

I think he's feeling sorry for the Twerps. They're down by 36.

It’s adorable that the OU-TCU announcers just busted out an anecdote about the warm reception Sampson got when he went back to OU without mentioning that he left them on probation and in real time they were not sorry to see him go.
