Pretty interesting interview with Matt Painter. Said growing up, his entire family was IU fanatics. He was, too. His dad went to Final Fours in '76, '81 and '87 -- and Matt went to the Superdome, too. He said he really wanted to go to IU, and Knight recruited him, but never offered a scholly. Said he'd have been happy just to sit at the end of the bench (and with the Grahams, Chris Reynolds, Damon Bailey, Jamal Meeks, Lyndon Jones -- that's right where he would have been). ... Painter was good friends with Pat Knight growing up.

Typical Indiana kid. IU was just stacked at that time. Painter has done well for himself.

Triple dub for Ayo today vs. Badgers. Whooped em down the stretch. Talk about team identity. Today Wisconsin’s identity was getting monster dunked on. Coffey had to have 10 poster dunks.

75-60 Illinois final.

Approaching halftime and Nebraska even up at MSU.

Sadly for MSU, the two teams seem to be at a similar level.

I understand the basic reasons why, but it’s still baffling how bad MSU is.

Hadnt watched Duke or North Carolina all year. Neither having good seasons and no excuse for it. The skill and athleticism is off the chart.

I think Roy is either A) Just done trying or B) He had a lot to work on and the pandemic interfered with that.
