From this it would appear that Alabama has someone on staff that understands the analytics and they have game planned accordingly.  Does IU have someone that helps incorporate analytics into offensive and defensive schemes?  Perhaps that's Armond Hill's role?

Oats is the analytic guy.  He was a math major and math teacher I believe before getting into coaching     They still might have an analytics guy on staff but it’s all driven by the head coach

I hate this is what basketball has come to. I think it just takes to much of the game away. If I thought was making the game better I would be all for it. If it is the best way to score why is scoring down compared to what it use to be.

I have watched a lot of old IU games from the 80's and 90's and we averaged over 80 points and probably hit 7-8 3's a game while shooting  over 40%. To me if you run a great offense and actually worked on your shooting from every where you can still score at a high rate.

I would of never guessed that lol

Well in the last 4 years I had a lot of down time. I had Covid 3 times and lost my job during the pandemic so I had to find something to occupy my time

Northwestern gonna make the tourney. IU isn’t.

Illinois gonna rip Indiana by 20 in a bounce back effort. This season sucks.

And there will be an insane amount of excuses... Though IU podcast haven't been sugar coating things like they have in the past. But I'm sure they'll end up making whatever excuse they need to make it seem okay.

Battle for the top of the American East tonight is a good one.   UMass-Lowell up 2 on Vermont with 16:02 to go

Umass-Lowell was down 7 and they have came so the way back to tie it up and they have a chance to win it.   2.9 to go and they all the ball under their basketball.

San Fran/Zags should be good. Zags definitely down from their last few years. Seems like the last 3-4 years San Fran is poised to challenge the Zags and St Mary’s at the top of the WCC, and then go out and lose to Pacific. They haven’t had that head scratching loss this year

Zags are in uncharted water this year.   They are not a lock for the tourney as of today.   I have them out as of now.    They need to win the game at Kentucky if they want a shot at an at-large
