Becoming very apparent with Covid years, transfers like crazy, that we can’t get too worked up over anything right now. Lots and lots of struggles out there.

also shows KenPom is probably more off than ever to start the season. Going to take a bit until we see what is what.

Shouldn’t get worked up anyway but that’s what fans do.    Early on there are always upsets that happen however with the COVID extra year there is going to be more.  You got these mid major teams starting 22, 23 and even 24 year olds playing against 17-18 year old freshman.   In a way that extra year has even the playing field even more

Refs do this in 4 grade girls travel also.  Nova can’t get a call to save their life right now.   When you are up 30+ don’t expect another whistle from the refs.  Lol.  Maryland is going to get this under 20 and they no business doing that

Mike from Dayton would have been good use for that empty scholly.   3-6 from 3 with 14 points  so far.   San Francisco up 1 over Grand Canyon

He was only 1 of 6 from three prior to this game with the only made three being against a D2 team.  13 of 21 overall, though.

He would have fit right in.   Just lost his man on defense and gave up a wide open shot

Yeah, that was kind of the line on him.  Offensively high ceiling, can't play defense.

I would blame both of them and the coaches for letting it get out of hand.  Apparently, both players threw punches. Sports Illustrated article says: " After Ames appeared to hit Dual in the face, Dual responded by throwing a punch that resulted in his forearm landing to the side of Ames' head. "   Kansas State, Providence Players Get Into Ugly Scuffle Late in Bahamas Tournament Game - Sports Illustrated

Both players were ejected.

Yeah, in the video Ames clinches his fist and throws a small sucker punch to Dual's chin or throat. Dual's response was more obvious. The refs eventually got it right by ejecting both. Ideally, they would've caught the first punch but it's not surprising they missed it since it was small and fast.

Both should miss games.

Any fight is an automatic 1 game.   Each league or school can add more
