Have to say I think Penn State beats them.

NET really likes the MWC.  My system does as well.  Possibility of four teams getting in (Boise St, Colorado St, San Diego St, Wyoming).  Bracketville not as kind -- has SD State as first team out and Wyoming as fifth team out.  Delpi is another good bracketologist and they haven't updated since Jan 27, but they SD State in as an 11 and Wyoming as a 12 in the play in round.

Malik Williams is out for the North Carolina game, Mike Pegues said on his radio show. Says Williams hasn’t met Louisville’s standard and different times throughout the year. It’s an indefinite suspension.

Words were exchanged between Pegues and Williams at practice yesterday. Williams made a comment somewhat to... You helped them get rid of one, but you're not getting rid of me. Referring to Coach Mack.

Notre Dame was close to the cut line before this game.  They needed to split their next to games.  They have to go to Miami on Wednesday.   They desperately need that game now.    After the Miami game they might not have another game against a tournament team until the ACC tournament.   Florida St maybe but that’s not a guarantee at this point.   ACC is not great this year

Penn State up 4 going to the under 4.  Didn't get a kind whistle in the last minute -- Seth Lundy went hard into a layup and no call.  In real time I thought he wasn't fouled, replay showed that he has swiped across the arms going up.  Couple fouls then called at the other end and Iowa is shooting free throws to try to get within 2 with about 3 1/2 left.

Penn State up 63-59, 1 1/2 minutes left, Penn State ball.  Keegan Murray with only 8 points with 6 of those coming from the line.  1 of 9 from the field.

Penn State bucket, Murray comes back with a 3.  Penn State 65-62, 52 seconds left.  If Murray missed that, the game was over.

If it gets down to 10 seconds or under and they haven't taken a shot, foul.  In fact, just guard the three point line and give up the two.  Iowa wants to shoot a three.

The wonders of Google.  I was searching for info on an ugly brawl that occurred tonight at a high school game in D. C. and Google brought up the 1972 brawl that took place between Minnesota and Ohio State perhaps the ugliest incident in college basketball history.

Iowa foul, 9.9 seconds left.  Next foul puts Penn State at the line, PSU still up 1.  No timeouts.  Expect Penn State to be on the line -- hit your free throws and then foul, no threes.
