I took your previous statement more specifically as they've had 2 COVID cancellations recently and it's lame of them not to reach out to IU to try to get our rivalry game rescheduled on either of those two cancellation dates, which is what I think is a stretch. Good news is Woody is on record saying he'd love to get that game back on the schedule. But if they don't want it, fine, and **** 'em (sorry if that word isn't allowed here). Oh I agree. I just meant in a perfect world, if the rivalry HAD been still going, they wouldn’t have thought twice about scheduling us and us them, had this happened in a different scenario. But as it is, you’re right…if they don’t want it (AKA Calipari being “they” as I’m sure the boosters as well as the AD and definitely the fans), then oh well. It’s just hard to reconcile since as a kid in the 80’s and 90’s the IU-UK rivalry was the biggest thing going here in southern Indiana. I remember those “Big 4” games well. Now THAT would be an epic replacement for the Crossroads Classic (but Kansas is amazing too).

These games right before Christmas break are so dangerous.  Notre Dame is sleep walking and this Texas A&M CC is playing like it’s a tournament game.   Notre Dame down 9 with 11:20 to go in first half

Thanks, couldn't find any games on.  Have one now.

Turned in just in time to see a pretty big scrum between an ND and CC player.  Probably need to review that one.

Diamond Head Classic begins today.  I always liked it as a stand-alone tournament during Christmas.  Not as strong of field as some of the Thanksgiving tournaments but still fun to watch

Usually these rivalry games  are good for a teams resume.  Not in Illinois case.  Missouri is 239 in the NET.   Good for a Q4 win if Illinois wins and disaster if they some how lose it.     To put that in perspective.  Only Northern Kentucky, Merrimack and N Illinois are lower then 239 all of IU’s other non conference games would be considered better wins. Lol.  That’s bad
