He is also the only D1 coach who has more first round NCAA tournament losses since 2015 than Matt Painter.

WTF happened to Brandon Newman?  In February and March he shot 15 of 53 from the field and averaged 4.4 ppg in a ten game span.  Last game in January, he scored 29 against Maryland.

I get what you are saying but that number is only 3.  And his total first round losses is only 4

What an awesome day of basketball. I always want to see the B1G do well but good for Oral Roberts. That's what makes it fun. I know everyone wants to laugh at Purdue (me included) but in 2016 they had a young team and got bounced in the first round. The next 3 years they were a legit B1G contender and made it to the second weekend all three years. Gave the national champs all they could handle. I think it's the same situation here.  A really young team but lots of talent. Indiana has a long way to catch them.
