From Andrew Carter who covers U of No Classes for the Charlotte Observer

UNC's appearance before NCAA Committee on Infractions has been set for Aug. 16 in Nashville, Tenn. Scheduled for two days.  For clarity: the NCAA *requested* that Roy Williams, Larry Fedora, Sylvia Hatchell appear at hearing. Wasn't necessarily their idea.

From Dana O'Neil  -  Nothing in this case has followed normal sched, but w/ UNC facing COI on Aug. 16, not out of the question a decision could be made by Oct.

They need to hammer them and hammer them hard and truly make an example out of them.

I'm not so sure, UNC directly challenged their authority.  NCAA is probably going to go all Eric Cartman on them.  But I won't be surprised if its a slap on the wrist either

Or a "yeah, you're right. We don't really have that authority. Continue cheating because we can't do anything."
