Indiana?  306 out of 351, you won't win a lot of games that way.

Not against top 300 teams anyway. Against cupcakes under 300 IU is beast

Count me in the camp that is glad that Legerald Vick didn't end up a Hoosier.

Agreed.  Given that "all things known" about players these days, I am not on the "win at any cost" team.

Having said that, is the consensus still there that we are glad we passed on Lyle?

I'm old, but the memory hasn't completely failed me yet.  This stuff popping up about Kansas rang bells that Self's program isn't all that pure as driven snow and I found the following.  It is very lenghty and appeared on a U of Michigan blog site so you certainly can't take it as 100% factual but it is quite an interesting read about Kansas and it's recruting.

I'm old, but the memory hasn't completely failed me yet.  This stuff popping up about Kansas rang bells that Self's program isn't all that pure as driven snow and I found the following.  It is very lenghty and appeared on a U of Michigan blog site so you certainly can't take it as 100% factual but it is quite an interesting read about Kansas and it's recruting.

Darrell Arthur was ineligible when they won.His high school transcripts were fake,Kind of like Bledsoe becoming a math genius between tests.They're as dirty as Ky or more so.

Just when you thought you'd heard it all:

RALEIGH, N.C. – For the first time in 18 seasons, a Notre Dame men’s basketball game will not be played at its scheduled date and time.

Notre Dame was supposed to travel late Friday afternoon to Chapel Hill, N.C., for Saturday’s Atlantic Coast Conference game with No. 12 North Carolina. But a water main break of 1.5 million gallons of water in the town of Chapel Hill on Friday afternoon forced mayor Pam Hemminger to declare a state of emergency.

City officials won’t know until late Sunday at the earliest if the area’s tap water can be used safely. Schools and businesses were closed Friday afternoon. The University of North Carolina also closed its campus in the early afternoon.

The game has been moved to Greensboro Coliseum, located 51 miles away, and will tip Sunday at 1 p.m.

There will be no television.

ESPN color commentator Dick Vitale, who was scheduled to call Saturday’s game, instead checked into a Raleigh-Durham International Airport hotel just before 5 p.m. Friday. He had no idea if he’d be working this weekend or headed home to Florida after just arriving from Los Angeles.

Notre Dame’s traveling party remained back in Northern Indiana. The Irish were scheduled to leave on a charter flight after practice just before 4 p.m. They will travel late Saturday morning.

North Carolina officials already have moved the women’s lacrosse game scheduled Saturday on campus.

Saturday marks the first time since Jan. 2, 1999 that a regular-scheduled Notre Dame game has been postponed. Notre Dame was scheduled to host Pittsburgh at the old Joyce Center that day, but a snowstorm that hit Northern Indiana postponed that game to Jan. 5.

Notre Dame has two home games next week – Tuesday against Wake Forest and Saturday against Florida State.

Even with that weird scenario, still a lot of good games tomorrow. Arizona at Oregon, Virginia at Syracuse, Purdue at Maryland and Kentucky at Florida


Xavier at Creighton, Illinois st at Wichita st, Kansas st at Baylor , Ohio st at Michigan a couple of others
