WayneFleekHoosier Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 I don't think UCLA plays good enough defense yet. They're good and can get even better but they'll have to be better defensively to be up there with what Duke should be. That's why I have Duke at 1 and UCLA 2. The talent on those two rosters is unbelievable. TJ Leaf does a little of everything. Same with Ball. Bryce Alford is super annoying but can shoot it as well as anyone. Lots of good teams this year. The top 20 is loaded. But UCLA and Duke really stand out. I like to see IU/UCLA. Could be 130-120. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners ALASKA HOOSIER and CR3AMnCR1MS0N 2 Quote

Duke has Allen and Jefferson and UCLA has Alford and Welch. If those two teams are healthy and defending they have a leg up on the competition. UCLA can flat out score and they have as much talent coming off the bench as many teams have in their starting lineup. Edit: it might get that high but if I were coaching I'd slow it down and make them defend. You might get them a bit frustrated. Quote
biteoftheapple Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Defense is the only reason Kentuck cam be mentioned. That is one thing they do well. Quote

BubbleKnuts Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 I really hope we don't run into UCLA in the tournament. At the same time, if anyone's going to beat them, why not us? It'd be wonderful to beat Alford with his alma mater. hsrtxp 1 Quote

LockdownD Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Berry didn't play. Seems his ankle was sprained and he was kept out to give him more time to recuperate. They managed to pull out the win despite not having Berry. Tennessee led virtually the whole game, but couldn't close out. HoosierAloha 1 Quote
mdn82 Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 If UCLA is a 1, I would love to be the 2 in their bracket. That would be a great game, but much like Arizona with Miller, Alford won't go far with talent. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Alford Bailey 1 Quote
