At least my alma mater, the sycamores won today and Illinois was down 12 to Chicago st

 

Chicago St. is #343 in Kenpom. Their 3 wins are against IU-Northwest, Illinois Tech and Trinity International. Their one game against a D-1 opponent, they lost to Iowa State 106-64. 

 

 

I know Illinois has some guys injured, but seriously, being down 8 at the half to that team is embarrassing.

this year has the feel early where we will lose games like today where we should of won and then win a huge game in cameron where everyone will expect a loss. That kind of inconsistency is torture for a fan

I think it'll be like last year. At some point in January, about two months from now, we'll be something like 16-5 and only a game out of first place in the Big Ten and everyone will act like tonight is nothing more than a memory. Then we'll begin our inevitable slide, just like we do every year.

luckily rice imo isn't that great of coach. He has brought in loads of talent and hasn't done much with them. I watched a couple games last year where he cost them with some questionable coaching moves
