Pinson, in my eyes, epitomizes raw basketball athleticism. Kind of Troy Williams like.

I think Pinson will make tons of athletic, hustle plays but will be slow to develop the rest of his game.

Pinson is far more advanced on the defensive end. I love that about him. 

 

I took that tweet I posted to mean potential recruits, not commits but not really sure. Pinson seems to be loving UNC, obviously that could change if sanctions come, but I'm not really one to root for kids to transfer. I'm not saying anyone is but I'll enjoy watching Pinson at UNC...solid prospect for sure.

In many of the High School All Star games, most players rarely pass the ball. One aspect of Pinson's game in the couple of All Star games that I saw, was that he seemed to always look to pass to Blackmon for a nice open jump shot. It was nice to see unselfishness from him.

yeah pap, same here. I think it's more for potential recruits too. And I also agree that Pinson is a good defender already, but offensively, he forces drives based on an unreliable jumper.

Pinson is gone---on to the next fellas....I liked him too but he made his choice when he chose that high academic institution (clearing throat loudly) to the East with all those hard classes for athletes!  :popcorn:

 I just saw where Kansas had Ol Roy back at Phog for their opening festivities.To a standing ovation no less!

Ive always thought Kansas was a shady program with the big kid ..cant remember his name, on the championship squad having fake classes in High school.

Nothing ever came of that.Guess who recruited him?

Yep.  Amazing that Arthur's high school basketball career was removed from the books and he didn't officially graduate....but he was a model student in college?  Talk about eligibility issues.....and Roy knew nothing of it.  Roy also didn't know about graduation gifts against NCAA rules and now he didn't know about this latest scandal.  Bs.

Kansas 1988 title was tainted also, and I think they went on probation after it. That was with Larry Brown who happened to play his college ball at North Carolina. Funny how Roy couldn't win one there with the awesome talent he had although he went to several final fours like Howland at UCLA.
