Didn't have this on my Thanksgiving board.

Gross af if this is true. But honestly doubt Silver does anything. If Miles Bridges is still in the league, Giddey gets a slap on the wrist at most.

Almost sounds like since the CBA doesn't mention anything he may not be able to do anything unless some state law comes into play.

Oklahoma age of consent is apparently 16. So is Australia, where he's from. Doesn't appear to be breaking any laws. It's weird, if my 16 yr old daughter was dating a 21 year old I'd be irate. If my 20 year old was dating a 25 year old I'd be more or less indifferent. It's not the age gap but the age of the girl that is the problem. No clue how a 16 year old could possibly have the decision making abilities to consent to an adult.

I read something that said it happened in California and the age of consent is 18.

Well, that certainly changes things. If that's the case then they need to send a statement imo. Slippery slope from this to the Karl Malone level of inappropriate relations.

Oscar gets called up. Averaging 19.2 points and 18.5 rebounds LOL! Set a Mad Ants record with 26 rebounds.

It's a shame that the game has changed so much, that guys like Oscar, Edey, and Kofi aren't considered prospects for the NBA anymore.

It’s follow the leader. Someone will embrace the bigs again soon and it’ll make a comeback.

Wholeheartedly agree!

Wasn't that long ago, Coach's and GM's were salivating over a kid like Kofi Cockburn. Someone needs to draft Edey, and flip the bird to the opponent,  and say I'll take my 65-70% 2's, over your 25-35% 3's. Work more on his mobility and strength to somewhat guard the perimeter (he was a hockey player), because not many guys are going to handle him on the block. Someone needs to take the plunge!

If I was an NBA GM I’d take Edey middle of 1st, bottom of first and make NBA teams prove they can guard him. I know people fear his defense but he’s a workhorse with no injury history. He breaks the mold in his own way. A Yao Ming without injuries.

NBA GMs are too scared. Just gotta follow, follow, follow. I can't wait for the day the NBA gets back to having some bigs that can work the block.

So when bigs on the block where a bigger deal it was okay for teams to just follow, follow, follow. But now they aren't its bad to follow follow follow.

You guys are hilarious. Edey is gonna get eaten alive in PnR

Maybe so but not many NBA bigs would have an answer for him either. Not in today's NBA.
