FloridaHoosierGirl Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 Victor is out again tonight for the Suns. Still no word about Sunday's Dallas game. I'm concerned about how long this is taking. hsrtxp 1 Quote
hsrtxp Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 Maybe he's on a different version of the tank train. He tanks, OKC does worse, BD leaves for IU. Victor still giving his all for IU. [emoji6]Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Happydaze, Crimson and Cream, WayneFleekHoosier and 3 others 6 Quote
FloridaHoosierGirl Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 Victor did not join the team in Dallas today. Based on Billy Donovan's comments they don't expect him tomorrow. Quote
FloridaHoosierGirl Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Just saw this on one of the message boards for OKC. "So I saw Victor this morning at church and talked to him. He said he's starting to Feel better but based on the way he and his mom were talking, this is much more serious than we've been let on. Its a very legit lower back problem. He was having trouble walking normally, definitely going out of his way to avoid pain. He was also constantly trying to stretch out his back. I'm not sure Vic will be back for a few more weeks." reconmkd Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Sounds like some disc issues, IMO. Every disc in my lower back is shot and have trouble walking at times and there is a definite measure to avoid pain! I hope that's not the case, but who knows. Hope he gets better with no problems, really like watching him play. HoosierAloha 1 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Sounds like it goes back to that nasty fall imo. Hope he gets back to feeling normal. The offseason should help. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners FloridaHoosierGirl 1 Quote
FloridaHoosierGirl Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 This is what Billy Donovan said after practice yesterday. "We didn't really do a lot of contact, but he shot. Tomorrow at shot around we'll probably do a lot more activity than we did today. Today was really film and areas of improvement. We took Victor with just Doug, Taj, and Norris and ran through some offense and he was fine going through all that stuff. He shot after. Did skill work. He said he feels good. I just kind of leave it up to the medical staff. He was here and seemed like he was doing well. He's cleared to do that (activity) and we'll see how he feels. I'll have a better feel after shot around to see where he's at. The time back here certainly helped him get better." ccgeneral, hsrtxp, LockdownD and 1 other 4 Quote

FloridaHoosierGirl Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Victor commented after Saturday's game. Though he missed six games resting his back, the time off helped Victor Oladipo in more ways than one, Brett Dawson of the Oklahoman writes. “It was amazing for my wrist, actually,” Oladipo said. “I’m not one to complain. It wasn’t 100 percent, but that rest kind of helped it out a little bit. It’s a lot better now.” reconmkd, Crimson and Cream, Class of '66 Old Fart and 2 others 5 Quote
