Walking Boot of Doom

The importance of IU basketball

Recommended Posts

IUBB666,

That's how most of us feel.  Love watching me some Hoosier Basketball.

That win AT MICHIGAN to clinch the BIG

That blowout blitzkrieg of UNC at home

We had a few games in 2011-2013 where our offense was BEAUTIFUL.  Zeller dunking on folks, VO driving, and Hulls and Watford hitting from outside.  When they were hot, it was amazing.

Beyond the obvious Kentucky, OSU, and MSU wins I have to go with that road win at NC St Cody's freshman season. That was the game where I was truly elated to the point where I felt we had moved on from the Sampson and Davis debacles. It felt good to be a fan of these players I could easily get behind again.

100% agree, that was a good NC St team. CJ Leslie and the frosh. That was a very big and underrated win.

If I'm Crean, I play this for my guys. You can understand the history to an extent and understand the noise during home games, but you can't understand what it means to the fans until you hear it. I think it's important what Knight told his players: "You never know"

Wow, a very special day for a very special Colts' fan. It's wonderful that Danny was able to have that experience.

My tear ducts are getting a workout today.

He was a SeaBee and his obit said he worked on building numerous airstrips and ships on 3 different continents during WWII. The man deserved that so much

This is very touching and moving and it puts so many things into perspective.

I remember the little Mich St fan last year.It broke my heart to see the suffering .

At the same time i had a new found admiration for Adrian Payne.Couldn't shake that one for a while.

Check out this link from that game:

You'll notice just how young that Indiana team was starting 2 freshmen, a sophomore and 2 juniors... younger than this years team.

Also, notice Exum at the end

Daugherty (sp?) gave Blab a nice handshake in that.
