Wow.  Cows don't jump out in front of cars.  How did he not see it?  Coach is getting old   :(

I hit a cow when I was 20....

An eyewitness said Knight did everything he could to get the cow to moooooo-ve over.  He honked the horn--stopped the car----got out---cussed the cow---whacked the cow in the back of the head---tried to strangle the cow---hit the cow with a bullwhip---and when nothing worked--he opened the trunk--- took out a folding chair and hurled it at the cow. After all of that the cow smiled at Knight so Knight got back in his car and rammed the SOB with his vehicle!

He should have stuffed the cow into a garbage can

Knight told the cops he was driving and it was definitely a foul on the cow because the cow was trying to take a charge but did not get itself set in time before the SUV rammed him!   :D

Heard today Knight told the cow to "STEER" clear---but the cow just wouldn't listen!

 

He was on a road in the middle of nowhere---nothing but flat land and cows---so he got distracted because he was daydreaming he was back in West Lafayette, Indiana getting ready to coach against Purdue !
