Favorite IU BBall Players Of All Time

Recommended Posts

While we are killing time till the start of the season---who is your favorite (does not have to be the best) IU BBall Players of all time and why?

Recent ones---Vic--the human highlight reel and great ambassador for IU bball -

Cody--high character and put us back on the map as a program.

Past ones---Calbert--smooth scoring machine and from my neck of the woods in Southern Indiana

A.J. Moye--undersized but never outworked--miss those  A---J---Mo---Ye chants!

Who ya got and why?

Alright Hovadipo----I'll bite---Explain Bracey?

Bracey was probably my first favorite Hoosier. He came on to the scene when I was young enough not to care that he averaged 900 shots per game. I just knew that he was fun to watch and sometimes got tons of buckets.

I kinda feel ya here Hova. I liked Wilmont and Strickland more than most too. Also, Hornsby had a pretty jumper! I guess it was my era.

Alford was the face of Indiana basketball for awhile.  I remember watching him and IU knock Michael Jordan and UNC out of the NCAA and saw him against Rex Chapman and UK in The Hall --it was electric--both had about 26 points but we got the win!  Imagine how may more career points he would have scored if they had adopted the three point line sooner!  He ran and ran through screens all night long and wore defenses out! And all he needed was an inch opening and---SWISH!
