Hoosier Hysteria---3 Point Contest

Recommended Posts

Major bragging rights on the line for the players!!! That's about it really, but it should be great fun.

Excited to see Holt, Rob, and Max in the scrimmage format to see what they can bring in addition to our core. I know a little more about Rob from some game footage, but looking to see prolonged minutes for Rojo.

Curious to see if Priller gets any play?????? Also, would like to see Burton especially based on the praise of BB4IU and Ritchie's athleticism.

Some of the things I'm interested in.

Also if yogi runs point for one squad, WHO runs point for the other???

I think the 3v3 champs should play against Yogi, JB, and Troy for the grand finale, haha. Then we can see just how well the hyper studs much up with the real studs. Lol.

I am just kidding but it would be funny to watch.....

Or rather, Hartman, Priller, and April vs the eventual champs. Now that would ignite some serious BTBanner discussion. Lol.

I'm still missing how you think she isn't in the discussion and think it's unfair. What she does from here on out in college has nothing to do with what was said. He said in Illinois high school history so college means nothing.

There is a difference between having one of the best careers and being one of the best players.  If you think TB is as talented a player in HS as Parker, Catchings and Lloyd amongst others then you are looking thru crimson colored glasses.  If she were we would have been in a recruiting battle with UCONN, South Carolina, ND, Tennasse, etc.

Again not any disrespect to Tyra as 2 of those 3 are among the top 10 women's basketball players ever and Lloyd will be a 3 time AA.

There is a difference but her stats speak for themselves. You're clearly basing your opinion on the other two girls entire careers which had nothing to do with what's being discussed. Put Tyras HS career up against the other twos and she has a case. No one said she is definitely better but she's without a doubt in the same conversation as the other two as far as high school basketball in their state goes.

You are either new or don't pay attention to me if you think I wear crimson colored glasses. Lmao.

Great for them being among the best ever but they had nothing to do with just their HS careers. What they did post high school has no influence on what they did or didn't do in hs. That confirmed my thinking that you're comparing Tyra to their entire careers.

She is in the discussion.

The 25th ranked PG in the country in the 2014 class is not in the discussion as the best HS player in Illinois HS history when they have had the only 2 time NATIONAL player of the year.

Most prolific scorer, yes, best player not in the discussion

You keep mentioning things that have nothing to do with what's being talked about. I don't know why I'm even wasting my time right now.

So bringing up a kid that was a 2 time HIGH SCHOOL NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE YEAR as the best player in Illinois HIGH SCHOOL history does not support a dissuasion on the best HIGH SCHOOL player ever in that state????????

Rob Johnson has one of the weirdest shots I've seen.  During the 3 point contest, he'd square up, jump to shoot...and land 3 feet in front of the line.

When he's closely guarded, he's going to initiate a lot of contact.  This could be good or bad, I guess we'll see.

Not only forward but really high on top of it. I was thinking the same thing.Lots of collisions with defender.
