They're saying he's hurt. Missed all 3 games so far.

I think this trip has answered many questions so far.

Loving the uptempo, guard play.  Love seeing results against competition.  The big mystery is still in the USA.

Part of the up-tempo has to do with the 24 second clock. Hopefully IU's trip and other teams playing with FIBA rules can persuade the NCAA to lower the shot clock. From media accounts/tweets and the Carleton audio last night, it doesn't seem like IU is forced into a bad shot every time they're in the halfcourt; which is the big "fear" that coaches and pundits use when championing the 35 second clock.

In at least two of his post game press conferences CTC has expressed how much he likes the 24 second clock.  I personally am not a fan of the idea, but if it were to benefit us I think I could change my mind pretty quick... definitely in less than 24 seconds.

I started a thread on this a while back. I am a HUGE advocate for a shorter shot clock. At least to 30 seconds. Most coaches interviewed by Katz this summer want a shorter clock too. It's going to happen soon!

This will doom the Wisconsin's in the NCAA.  What will they do if they can't eat 30 seconds on every possession?

I like it!

Reading Crean's post game comments, I get this feeling that he really likes this team from top to bottom. From Yogi, to the newcomers and walkons. This team and coach really seem to be gelling. I'm very excited for this season.

I would have felt better had Carlton had their best player and head coach. We did not have HP so there is some balance but would have preferred a win with those guys included.

Sorry if this news has previously been posted but I did some digging this morning.
I knew that Carleton beat the piss out of Memphis once, thanks to you guys! But did you guys know that they beat Memphis twice!?? The 1st time was a 76-86 loss. They also beat Illinois-Chicago by 15 and I think you guys already knew about the Vermont win. Again, my apologies if this has already been posted but this team might actually be pretty decent. Also, they have an exhibition game at Syracuse November 2ndish.
