Well hope we have better luck next week in the battle for last place against the jags

3 out our next 4 are divisional games. We get a huge chance to cut any space that our AFC south foes think they have and if we win all three, we have a good shot at distancing ourselves from them early.

But for now, let's just go beat Jacskonville

I'm praying Grigson doesn't trade a high draft pick for a pass rusher. And the scary thing is, I can see him actually doing that.

Early on in Manning's reign, the Colts had a 6-10 season where everything just snowballed on them. Jim Mora felt it was because they were "too good, too soon." The Colts have won more games than they should have the last couple years, and it may catch up to them this season.

That was the year we drafted Freeney, right? Turned out pretty well

Eh, I'm not the least bit concerned about them. Their offensive line is a mess, and Henne isn't Luck. They don't have MJD anymore, their wide outs and tight ends are a whole lot of 'meh'. Even if the offense struggles they're bad enough offensively that it doesn't concern me.

Yeah I know I was just making light of the situation we should take our frustrations out on them.

Pep Hamilton is the worst offensive coordinator in the NFL/CFL/WNBA/XFL. With his conservative play calling he's essentially handcuffing Luck. Outrageous. Defense looked awful. This team will make the playoffs but are worse than last year by far.

Yeah Pep is determined to make the Colts a physical running team.  We are NOT.  Play to your strengths Pep.

It wasn't just last night, but that game was a microcosm of Pep's effort since his arrival.

It's no wonder Luck has ALL THOSE 4th quarter comebacks.  We try running the ball for 2 and a half quarters and sink into a hole, then he lets Luck sling it around.

Any novice can see this, right???

After 2 seasons of this consistent awful play calling...apparently not. The only times we actually moved the ball efficiently last season were late in games when Luck opened up the field.

Speaking of Stanford Cardinal(s) (is the plural form "Cardinals" in this case?) that probably wouldn't be with the Colts if not for Luck, Coby Fleener's name wasn't mentioned at all last night. That's starting to look like another early-round draft mistake. Dude can't catch anything above his shoulders and totally disappears for games at a time.

I never really understood the love for Fleener in the first place. Everything seemed to boil down to he was on the same college team as Luck. I know I said this earlier, but I think Allen is a considerably better player and was coming out of college.

If Trent Richardson ever writes a book:

When Life Gives You Lemons...
Instead of Linemen

Nah, he'd fumble the keyboard too many times to finish it.

How is it Donald Brown (last year) and Ahmad Bradshaw can run behind the line but Trent can't?
