Just curious. How did you fulfill your addiction for IU before BTB? Have you had other IDs in the past?

Cant speak for Rebel but I have always read the other sites but never posted.Seems to be a lot of pissing matches going on and I really don't like to get in to all that. Been there and done that. This forum for the most part seems to have members who are more civil and just have a love for the program.I think the Administrators want that and do a good job of keeping it that way.

 Hope it stays that way and also hope I can bring something to the table as well.

 Ive watched a lot of IU basketball over the years and even remember some of it.

I freely admit that I am powerless over my IU sports addiction. If I wake up in the middle of the night, I have to check BtownBanners to see if I've missed anything, like if Shake committed at 2 am or April is still in boot while he's sleeping.

 

I've never posted on any sports board except the earlier version of this one. I like the homey feeling here. It's like a family. A crazy drunken family.

  Before the Internet I was working in Louisville and my partner was neighbors with Clark Francis,the founder of Hoop Scoop.I had to be one of his first subscribers.Just so i could get a tidbit here and there about who we might or might not get.Then Bobby pulled the Ivan Renko scam and I felt like a fool for listening to that guy

In answer to your question CCGeneral---I fueled my past IU addiction by reading every IU site I could find. I probably have 10 or so on my favorites!  Really like ITH and Peegs.

 

But no----I have never posted before BTown Banners and just happened to stumble on this site and love it!

 

I agree with Woodson---this site has a better feeling to it---I got sick of seeing all the negativity on the sites and decided to pick one and try to post some positive memories and viewpoints.  I like this site because most of the posters respect others opinions and don't go into automatic attack mode every time someone expresses a different opinion. 

 

I also like that this site isn't all about money----it's about IUBBall!

Before BtownBanners, I was constantly on ITH and the troll filled ESPN boards. Let's just say I like that everyone here likes IU and that most of you have brains :D

If I knew which scholarship spots were open I'd know better who to root for. I am on record, liking Shake big time. I like OG too, tbh, I think he is a classic late riser due to his injury and missed time.
