Ok.  I know you were talking to me with this nonsense.  I will tell you what.  I don't care if it is me or anyone else on here, you don't ever question them being an IU fan because you disagree with them.  That just makes you look like a moron that you cannot have a sensical conversation without your crimson shades on.  This argument will piss a lot of people off around here, and we will side with them when you are questioning them being a fan.  Lol, this is a first for me though.  Don't think anyone (since I have become a mod a few years ago at the boards we have frequented) has told me to leave the forum.  I chuckled at that. How is the Blueberry Festival looking this year?  I was always a fan.  We used to do pretty well for baseball all-stars at it.  Always loved the Pony League diamond that was set up like Fenway.

The fact of the matter is that the best players in the state of Indiana would rather go to schools that surround the state because they are more attractive to them. UK, Louisville, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State. These schools are percieved to have better basketball programs with superior coaches by these kids and the important figures in their lives.

UK - Yes 

UL - Who have they taken from IU that was a top kid?  Honestly.  

OSU - They built their pipeline long before Crean.

UM - Best players in Indiana?  No.  I can name a couple that were equal to who we have, but they weren't thought of as better.

MSU - Only player they have/had that we were after was Harris.  Since Zach Randolph (who Bob Knight did not whiff on) that is the only player of significance from this state. 

 

I know you like to re-write history for your agenda, but your schtick is getting really old.  I dislike the direction of things, but I don't have to lie about things to make it worse than what it is.  Important figures in their life?  What in the hell is that?  A pipeline to relationship advice?  APR were perfect.  Oh gee you must mean important figures in their life = successful IU record...  I am glad I caught that correlation.

We recruit Indiana we don't land Indiana kids and I'm alright with that. the past few years Indiana has had a lot of good players and they have heard how good they are since they first started AAU, but these kids head cases for the most part trying to get to the league by any means and if that means sacrificing an education then they will do it I'm fine with what were doing now sure there are a couple guys I would have liked to land like Irvin and Harris but what I'm trying to say is I wouldn't want to watch or support a team full of head cases and butt holes
