Giannis doesn't play any point guard....... Shumpert doesn't either, neither does Shved. It is notable that Livingston doesn't really play point guard anymore either, he is a shooting guard for the Nets.

Davis has a knack for getting rebounds even though he isn't really that tall. He is a work horse type player, and I think he will end up being really important this year. We should already have guys that can shoot. If Davis is open and can knock in a 10 footer then great, but we need people on the glass in a major way. If Davis can do that, I think we will see a lot of him on the floor this season.

 

Same goes for Hanner.

That's him. I'm less concerned about him knocking down 3s (we should have plenty of shooters) and concentrating on him becoming the energy/glue guy. We heard there was a lack of communication on defense last season. Davis can fix a lot of that if he chooses.

If he became a Faried type player for us I'd be ecstatic. And agree with Hova that he is the most realistic player trajectory right now

I really like what Devin can bring. He will be a very solid player for us the next 3 years. Definitely needs to work on a mid-range game, but as long as he puts in good work this summer, he will be just fine.

Devin has the "star" quality about him.  He'll be just fine.  Did you all see the training video he did before IU with Mr. Gordon?  Kid works hard.

Neat. Strange thing is none of those things happened for the Pacers, so playing the hypothetical game doesn't make sense.
