I don't fully blame pitching because bats have been cold but I have faith in the bats. Little faith in the pitching.

They do need to bolster their bullpen. Free agent wise, the best starter available is Arrieta; maybe Darvish but he's coming off of injury. May have to give up some current and future offense to get a 1-2 starter.

Yeah. I like Hendricks. He's not overpowering but he'd be a great 3. The rest are overrated at this point. Including Arrieta.

I like our starters except a glaring Ace of a staff. There are only a few true Aces. One that you can look at every fifth day to be an instant win. IMO, the bullpen and our position players were biggest issues. Errors were terrible. Our BA collectively was terrible. No leadoff hitter. We had inconsistency to get to Wade Davis. Our SP's? They weren't world beaters, but I would much rather fix other areas first.

Congrats to Houston, I'm sure they're the 1st team to win both the AL and NL pennants. Games 6 & 7 in Houston made the regular season mean something. If the Yanks hadn't crapped themselves in June and July, they likely would've won the AL East and maybe had given Houston or Cleveland something for having home field advantage.

I had tickets for a couple ALCS games but couldn’t go do to work. Getting them for the World Series didn’t happen but I would’ve loved to have went to a WS game.

 

I can’t complain we get tickets to probably 20-30 games during the season and I haven’t paid for any of them.

I was on a family vacation for 10 days in Walt Disney World during the duration of the Series.  We left the day the Astros went to Magic Kingdom actually.  Game 7, it was around midnight when it ended, I was screaming in my pillow and jumping around while the family slept.  lol 

 

What a tremendous series!  Been an Astros fan for almost 30 years now.  The Zima's tasted so good that night...need to find a commemorative Astros Zima bottle!!!
