Sarcasm doesn't find you well I take it. Saying Vonleh is going pro isn't big news. Also, for Marlin to transfer, he would have to sit out another year. Two years of sitting out doesn't make sense at all. Etherington is going to be a leader on next year's squad and got decent playing time. Neither of those transfers make any sense

You're getting crap because you aren't really telling us anything. Vonleh going pro is something of a no-brainer. Etherington and Marlin transferring is a gigantic who cares and not really going out on a limb. Even if you end up being right, it doesn't prove you have the level of inside info to be correct about players failing drug tests.

I would say if Etherington and Marlin transfer. That would mean he has a credible source to some extent. Those wouldn't be the two names I throw out there to transfer because it doesn't make any sense for either player on the surface.

I don't get why either one would transfer.  Etherington got playing time this year and started getting playing time before he got hurt last year.

Sure it does. Etherington is always going to be one of the last wing options for Crean. His situation gets worse next season with Blackmon, Johnson and Hoetzel coming in. Marlin certainly might have reconsidered his decision to walk-on at IU. He gets no playing time. He can transfer down to a D2 school and play right away if he wants.

Hoetzel probably won't contribute much, if at all next year.  I doubt he'll contribute much until he's a junior.

Unless he transfers to State to play with his brother, but he'd still have to sit out a year.

Correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure he will not have to sit out a year ie. Evan Gordan, Maurice Creek

For being such an insider you have little to no idea how transferring works. The only reason Mo Creek and Evan Gordon could play right away is the Grad School exception. If the school you're transferring from does not offer your specific Graduate program, you can transfer to a school that does and use your remaining eligibility without having to sit out a year.

No clue what his major is, or if it's even offered at ISU.  Will he graduate this summer?  If so, AND if ISU offers what he wants and would  be in Grad school, then no, he plays right away.  If not, he sits.

Camp Crean has it right.
