Yup I thought the exact same thing. Any time Crean can implant that into players minds he does. Definitely makes sense and I'm REALLY happy to see Troy is starting to put in that extra work that I needed. Hopefully the other players will see this and take note.

It kills me how kids think that thier physical attributes can carry them like they did in high school. MOST of the time, they have a wake up call type of season like Troy has had and it finally sinks in that true improvement comes in the time spent when organized functions are over. He has earned his award. Both he and Devin Davis seem to have put things together as of late.

I think we need to include Hartman in that mix as well. He might not have played much this season, but he's definitely been important in practice given Crean's constant comments on him.

Reminds me exactly what he used to say about Etherington, who happens to be helping us quite a bit now.

Troy is my favorite player from that class so it's good to see him starting to put it together.

I can't wait to see Troy, Stan, and DD after another summer of workouts under their belt.

Me too!  I was big on Troy before he got here.  Hopefully he is proving me right from here on out.

If he can bring this past week into next year consistently and if Troy can develop a consistent outside jumper/3 for next year, with his height, jumping ability and speed, he will be a mence for opposing teams next year and more accolades like this will surely come his way.

I've been a Troy fan all season. He's always had freakish athletism but couldn't use it affectively. I think he wasn't prepared for what the league play was going to be like and how fast the game is. I think he will be a 24/7 guy this summer. He needs consistency with his jump shot and that comes with preparation on his part. I would really like to see him use that deceptive length to cause turnovers. In my opinion, he would benefit from watching tape of next years wing opponents and see their tendencies. This guy has athletic gifts. We have only seen glimpses of what he can do.
