Well if they're on something a .45 may not stop them in one shot, and a .45 round hits like a brick.

.45 dropped them most of the time, not mine because I could only carry a 9. (Stupid $&@@/:;()$) nothing close to what a 762 or a 50 did though.

FYI, i'm going to spread some lead this weekend. It's Caribou season!!!! suck it lower 48ers and Aloha!

 

to get back on thread, I use a 30-06 with 180 grain which would be great to explode some zombie heads. But better on the living at long ranges.

Lucky! Not much big game to hunt here in Indiana other than whitetail and coyote. I'd love to go elk hunting at some point in my life. But I'm not picky, I'd settle for caribou...or moose, or bear, or...

So this thread went from The Walking Dead to zombie apocalypse discussion to big game.  Here's a thought for organization sake:  how about the big game talk goes to the hunting thread, and a thread gets created for a zombie apocalypse discussion?
