.22 is the best zombie weapon out there.

Pros= quiet, lots of ammo available, most .22s can have tons of ammo in the magazine, ammo is light and doesn't take up room, the lead will penetrate skull

cons= not that effective against the living for which you carry a 5.56 or 7.62 and a machete for close zombie combat

A shot to the head will stop anyone, human or zombie, even if it is a .22.

True dat! but doesn't have the psychological advantage for non-lethal effect. You gotta be able to give the living a choice to either live or become an undead dead

Well if we want the psychological advantage I'm rolling with a .357 Magnum Colt Python ala Rick Grimes, but it'd be like setting a bomb off. If you want to stay fairly quiet a well placed .22 will do the job fine, even if they are himan.

I think I know which of you to contact at the onset of a Zombie Apocalypse! lol

Come find me. I'm heading back to my hometown in Southeastern Illinois if this ever happens. Father-in-law collects guns and stockpiles ammo. Plus having the Wabash river on one side always helps.
