Who posted it would be a bad thing? I would love to have Thon and Murray. If we play the way I think Crean will be playing we will need more guard depth. I won't be happy if Davis is off the team because "we don't think he will ever be as good as we projected him to be."

Everybody nobody wants one and done players I don't either but that's where the talent is

Bringing in talent is not a problem. Constantly getting rid of players because they're "dead weight" is a problem.

IU has brought in 6 more players than the top programs in the B1G in Crean's tenure, 5 more since 2011. You can't constantly have the roster turnover we have had and hope to compete. You need solid players that will stay in the program and develop.

IU has brought in 6 more players than the top programs in the B1G in Crean's tenure, 5 more since 2011. You can't constantly have the roster turnover we have had and hope to compete. You need solid players that will stay in the program and develop.

Let's be honest priller and April aren't going anymore we can't develop big men. Will Davis be able to play? I seen crean have creek transfer bc of his injuries

At some point Crean will have to balance his classes. If we land both Thon and Jamal that's another 5 man class. Three of those players have the potential of being one and done. So in your scenario we get rid of April, Priller, and Davis.

After next season we know Yogi, Hanner, and Z are gone. Troy, JBJ, Bryant, Thon, and Jamal all have hopes of the NBA after next season. That would leave us with Hartman as the lone senior (from a 6 man class) RoJo and Holt as juniors (from a 6 man class, 7 if you count Z) and OG and Morgan from the 2015 class. There seems to be a problem here.

We've had very few players that have been allowed to stay four years to develop.  Hanner has developed his game.  We expected more out of him but he just didn't have the game as a frosh as many of us thought he had.  If Hartman and Davis are allowed to stay I can see development out of them.

@dcoble- we dont want mediocrity. I know where you are coming from but the recruits dont need poo flung at them that was from our backside. what we do here in the btown banners water closet needs to stay with us. we can fling at each other just not at them. your tweet will probably catch some media pundit and it will go national. we dont need that...thon doesnt need that...IU doesnt need that....the players definitely dont need that. keep it within our walls brother....please?

Be careful what you ask for. Its not that hard to do.

There is no other option then to "work itself out". You can't have more than 13 scholarship players period, so we could sign 20 and it'd "work itself out".
