(2016) C Thon Maker

Recommended Posts

If this guy is on our roster next year...WOW! I know there are too many variables to his signing for IU (reclass, other schools, his handler, the state of our program) but hey, i can have "hope". By the way, i'm still volunteering to be the prez of his fanclub if he chooses us.

I just vomited in my mouth.

@Thon_Maker: Kentucky has a big atmosphere. Beautiful place with a professional coaching staff. This is where pros came before their profession #UK

He's not wrong really. Definitely has a big atmosphere of fair-weather fans, is pretty beautiful, the coaching staff are all paid for their jobs so they're professional, and it's hard to deny how many kids they kick out to the NBA (whether ready or not).

@EvanDaniels: Thon Maker will take another visit to Louisville for their game against Ohio State tomorrow, per a source. Visited Kentucky on Sunday.

Thon, Matur and Jamal Murray played in a tournament this past weekend in Kentucky. Looks like an extended stay.

Why can't we just pick one 5 Star big man, recruit him HARD Til the very end. And be satisfied that we gave it our best chance to get the guy we liked the best. Chances are if we recruit him harder than any other player or any other team, we'll get him

I would actually prefer to have several 4 star bigs that we develop (even though we have not done that yet) into legit bigs. Not develop into lottery picks necc but guys that can be really good for more than 1 year.

See, Thomas Bryant.

I agree. The value of experienced big men in college is huge.
