This came up in the game thread. Someone mentioned that a friend said 3 players failed a drug test this week, the only player he mentioned by name was DD. There has been speculation that Hollowell was one of the other two guys

I think jh sat cause he needs to get his head out of his butt and davis got in the game. Why would Davis get anytime if he is guilty like Jeremy? I find it doubtful Crean would risk his reputation and job over what is looking like a lost year.

Hopefully just rumors.  Didn't Crean say Jeremy was playing hurt against MSU (as little as I care to hear what he says anymore)?  Maybe that had something to do with it.

As of right now, all we have is what one fan said his friend told him on a game thread. Haven't seen anything anywhere else about these test. And generally speaking when people talk about what a friend said outside of the boards, and they don't have a link I take what they said with a grain of salt, until something else comes up. Like has been said hopefully this is just a rumor that got started for whatever reason. I know Bardo said throughout the telecast that JH not playing was Crean trying to send a message to him, I'm sure something should come out soon on this

ya we have one person whos friend said something, sometimes i feel as if iu fans think they have some sort of inside info as to why players sit out or other hunches about random happenings lol, remember last year when hollowell didnt even dress for a few games and everyone was saying the most ludicrous things. dont believe everything you hear.

I used to have someone that would give me inside information. That person has graduated. I knew a lot of things, but would never post them as they would come back looking bad on the person telling me these things. My son used to see Pritchard. Verdell Jones and others at parties. Accidentally ran into and knocked Pritchard down at one party.

 

My son also was at a friends apartment and talked to Sheehey after a game. Sheehey hadn't played well and was really upset. He was questioning his role. A few games later, Sheehey started playing well and became a key player for us.

 

If someone really has information, they should not post about it on the internet. Players don't need to have their every move documented while they are in school. If someone had failed a drug test, I am not sure they would be dressed.

I think they should and if they don't like it go play for some other school. This is the big boys league or it used to be. If this was a UK, PU or a BFE State player this would have a whole different twist. Can't happen under President Crean's watch. Nope.

That's the exact point of places like this. If something as simple as people posting on a message board hurts these kids feelings then they have bigger issues to deal with.
