WE ARE GOING TO GET ANNIHILATED IN BIG TEN PLAY if our turnovers continue. I can not believe how sloppy this team is with the basketball. If I'm Crean, this team is dribbling the ball to and from class, in the shower, at study tables and at home opening Christmas presents. Just no reason to be this sloppy.

Maybe that is why KJ calls Blackmon the "Sloppy Janitory"?  He wants him to come in and clean this mess up.  I can't see how very many are happy after that half.  Content yes.  Happy for Luke, yes.  Beyond that, what is there to be happy of?  We are going to turn the ball over 22 times in B1G play if we play like this.  How is the core players going to be ready to play extended minutes with these sub patterns?  Hell, they don't play more than 5 minutes at a time now.  How can they play 8 at a time?

Crean has never had a team take care of the ball, going back to his first year at Marquette.

Agreed and I don't think that will change.  But, there is no reason we can't get to 16 a game.  So many of the turnovers are avoidable it is sickening.

It's mind blowing. I don't understand the subs at all. I understand getting guys minutes, but our core group doesn't ever play together as it is. The hot players don't stay in the game.

He'll, last year our core group played 99% of the games.... On second hand, maybe that is why he's spreading the minutes out... I have no idea. I'll leave it that coach knows WAY more about this team than I do. But it still doesn't make any sense to me.

Agreed and I don't think that will change.  But, there is no reason we can't get to 16 a game.  So many of the turnovers are avoidable it is sickening.  

It won't change, not with that kind of sample size.  16 a game is way too many.  It's possible to play fast and take care of the ball, we don't his teams never do.  With that many years and that many different players I just think it's partly how he teaches offense, push push push instead of thinking sometimes you have to slow down to go fast.

Ha, the players aren't the only ones who need 10 days between games after this…  Can't recall the last 20 point halftime lead I was so frustrated.  As bad as this team we are playing is, I hope nobody brings up the score as a counterpoint to the frustration of play.  There are high school teams who could beat this team.

I can think of 2 posters on a different site that will, they'll also use personal attacks and include the word "agenda".

Maybe Crean can coach defense for the football team, and Wilson can coach fast paced offense for the basketball team.

Sigh…………..  Yeah, it is really hard to understand basketball at a fundamental level.  It takes a B1G coach to understand basic basketball.
