I'm a huge fan of Mike Patton (best known as the lead singer of Faith No More).  He's had a **** ton of side projects (he provided a lot of the zombie voices in "I am Legend") and has a huge vocal range.  Here's a couple of his side projects:  "We're Not Alone" from his group Peeping Tom and "God Hates a Coward" from his group Tomahawk.  The quick change from falsetto he does in We're Not Alone is amazing -- and he's doing it live here.

Something I never thought I’d say:

Bryan Adams put on one whale of a show at the track yesterday. He was unbelievable.

I saw Bryan Adams open for Journey on his Cuts Like A Knife tour in '83- he killed it then as well!

Good group. They played at the Oxford MS Double Decker Arts Festival last month where my kids went to school.

Ok, this is freaking awesome. The embryonic version of a song we’ve all heard a million times. Now I’ve got to find this doc.

Shouts to The Bear on FX/Hulu for opening my ears to The Replacements.

True Replacements story: Saw them in a little bar called Muggles in Broad Ripple when they were still pretty underground. Tommy Stinson was so incredibly drunk that he couldn’t stand. They brought a regular chair up on stage and he fell off of it a couple times until they brought one with arms. They let way too many in, so people kept bumping into the stage, which pi$$ed off Westerberg to the point that he walked after about 30 mins.

In other words, a typical Replacements’ show.

Did some research on them when I started listening, as I like to do, and yeah…this story tracks. Their live stuff is pretty interesting.

Tommy was too drunk to function?

Bobby surely drank more that night, but maybe he held his booze better thanks to constant intake

Recommend that you now go listen to Alex Chilton and Bob Mould.

Those two are primary influences that taught Paul Westerberg how to be Paul Westerberg.

Oh God, did I mix up my Stinson’s?

The guitar player, not the drummer.
