Is Coach Mallory Gone Soon?

......Has he been fired yet? Please tell me he has. As much as I loved watching our defense get torched on a weekly basis, I'd much rather see at least a little bit of improvement.

It hasn't happened yet, it's probably not going to.  The fact he was out recruiting is even more proof.

If Coach Wilson is sticking with Doug Mallory, I'll say this much.  I'm not going to give up on the 2014 season and I'm not going to stop watching the games.  But I will be fully expecting to see adequate defensive improvement to support CKW's apparent confidence in Doug.  If the defense is just as bad or even worse, then I won't be too pleased with that.  We'll see I guess.

I'll still watch the games.  If you expect to see much improvement from a Doug Mallory defense, you should be prepared for a massive let down.

 

I really don't like the standard that is set by keeping him.  Oh, we didn't have the worst defense in conference history?  There's some improvement!  We must be getting better, nevermind that the bar is so low it'd be difficult not to surpass it.
