Hoping to go for my first time this season. In-Laws hunt, and I finally have my first gun to go. Very excited at possibly going!

I think our gun seasons start around the same time. Pretty sure bow starts the first or second week of October?

Deer Archery in Indiana is easy to remember. It always comes in on Oct. 1st. The rest of the dear season come in based on where the weekend falls (I think), but Archery is always the same.

You never know. If the genetics are there..... Reminds me though of the redneck looking at a picture of a massive buck we had checked in, and going on over and over again about it all being about the "generics". I wish I was joking.

Well I actually had some opening day success this morning.  Got a small buck at 30 yards with my bow.

That white stuff is my dandruff. We are about to get our winter snow any day now.. I couldn't have asked for a better day to kill this beast. It was about 22 degrees and clear. Now, i'm going to head up near Prudhoe bay and kill me a caribou. God, I love Alaska!!!!!
