The Official Btown Banners Beer Thread!

Red Stripe is just a slightly better Budweiser...lol It's not even brewed in Jamaica (at least the U.S. supply), it's brewed in Wisconsin.

Budweiser is my go to domestic so I'm ok with that comparison. Although not brewed in Jamaica it tastes exactly the same, I drank it almost exclusivly on my honeymoon to Jamaica a few years ago (the supply there is obviously brewed there)... Well maybe that has a part to do with my affinity for it, takes me back to the beach!!!

Have you guys had the Yuengling Black & Tan?

Quite often. I go for the porter during the winter. Yuengling is everywhere in the northeast.

For those who like marzen(October fest), get Spaten from Munich. Good stuff.

I don't mind a smooth Vanilla Porter, but I struggle with more than 12oz's a night. Just too malty for me to have more than that.

I just had the phenomenal opportunity to have a watered down warm Bud Light, only priced at 3x what it should be, all while surrounded by 65,000 screaming 15 year old One Direction fans!!! The good news? Zero line for the men's restroom. Father of the year candidate here!

You poor bastard. Which was worse, the overpriced, watered  down, warm Bud Light, or One Direction?

Just tried my first Landshark. Wasn't bad at all, but not what I was in the mood for. I've had them in the fridge for awhile because the father-in-law bought them. Quickly switched to one of my favorites: Kona Longboard

Bought to put some meat of the grill :)

1) Honestly never heard of it...

2) I drink Admiral (college budget) but never tried Sprite with it. My go to is cherry Dr. Pepper.

Oh my god I'm never having Admiral Nelson again. That's all I drank at the Indy 500 this year and I was blacked out drunk by 10:30 AM...woke up at 3:00 PM inside a white tent with an iv on my arm and the race finished....never again.

That is a fantastic Indy story. Now that I think about it, we need an Indy 500 story thread too.

And don't talk crap about the Admiral!!
