Honestly if his brother & dad are coming, it kinda seems like its a shoe in that he's ours. Why else would they come without him. It could also mean dad isn't sold on IU and that's where he wants to go, so dad is going without him to talk to Crean personally. Either way you look at it idk if its huge news, but definitely good. I don't see how it could be bad unless they were coming to tell crean in person his son is going elsewhere, but HH seems like a weird time to do so.

That was my thought. Talked to Bowen who is a long shot. Because without Wilkes they have a need. We can hope at least

I get that; just find it hard to see them wanting to show up with the spotlight on Kris without IU being a lead option, or at least in good stead.

Shows me that at worst, Kris is really torn, and at best, that he's leaning hard IU.

Waters changes nothing. This would be one of Crean's biggest misses because of talent and time invested. Wouldn't mean we couldn't still end up with a great recruiting class, but this would hurt.

I just feel if Wilkes really wanted IU, it would be a done deal by now. Hopefully there isn't an announcement for commitment in the next few days or its Waters all over again since he just had his home visit from UCLA lol

I'd be very surprised if IU doesn't meet with him before an announcement is set. Illinois, as well.

I think torn is a good word for it. In my mind, the emotion pulls through here and it's IU but I really do think UCLA is what he sees best from a purely basketball standpoint. Which is the basis of the recruitment for him...now
