Albers has a story saying it would be shocking if Wilkes didn't pick Indiana....probably means it's UCLA.

Saw a random Instagram comment the other day from a kid claiming to be Kris' little brother. Said his mom liked Indiana better than the other places they visited. I'm not certain but I believe the kid is actually Kris' brother.

Even better: Albers says a source close to Wilkes would be shocked if kw doesn't pick IU.

It's an ok (but historically great) basketball school located basically in Beverly Hills that recruits fairly well. I'd check it out for the campus visits if anything.

If we land him, this would be quite the draft class for us. Perhaps the best since the famous class of "2012" Although we all know how that turned out..

How many games do Alford and Groce have to win to even have jobs when Wilkes arrives on campus?

Alford - He is absolutely hated by UCLA fans. I would venture to say he needs a Pac 12 title or a Final 4 appearance to keep his job.

Groce - He needs to make the dance and have 3 or fewer arrests to keep his job.

I'm honestly shocked Groce has kept his job this long. Then again, it's not like Illinois aspires to be great or anything.

I'd be pretty satisfied with ending the class with Wilkes, Smith, Durham, Moore.

#Illini coaches John Groce & Jamall Walker were in Indy today to visit Kris Wilkes (@kadw31) - his father tells me. The push continues..

Illini boards still seem very pessimistic about their chances but maybe that's just their permanent mentality.
