Thanks, guys.  I just need to find a counselor I connect with. I have my reasons for not believing in the system, and my wife finally understands that, but to her, it's too late.

I echo Stuhoo here. Counseling is a good thing. An impartial 3rd party can help shed light and better explain the feelings and emotions that the other is feeling. Sounds weird I know. But it is a positive...assuming both parties are open to making it work.

Thanks. Unfortunately, at this point she has someone else she's seeing. It'll be me only. Well, we have coparenting counseling that we attend, so I hope that helps. I do know she's taking a trip to Chicago this weekend with him. Makes me sick.

Of course. Unlike other boards, I've not met anyone from here, but I love this family all the same even though I've never met you all. Sorry for your loss. Depression is a hell of a thing. I'm there right now.

Not as serious as the above, but there was a fire in building right next to my office. Friend of mine is property manager and another friend’s business was burned out. + $1M damage so far. I was close enough to feel heat and mist from hoses. Glad to home oxygen warehouse didn’t catch! Prayers for all to rebound from this!

All I can say about this one is damn. Great dude with a big family is gone. If anybody is ever hurting do not hesitate to reach out. To anyone. The pain you’re feeling now doesn’t compare to the pain you cause to your family and kids man. RIP Nathan and rest easy! Pappy, Natty is right. Keep your chin up man. Reach out. Don’t make it so you are the only one carrying this burden. It’s not worth it. Prayers

Hope everyone is doing well! I want to thank each of you that said prayers for me. I've cursed God. Turned my back on Him, and yet, He still delivers. 2 weeks ago an old friend walked into the bar I was at. Signs were there, and I miserably failed at a kiss. I sent a simple text this past Saturday telling her good luck to her and the girls, as she coaches some of the higher level girls at Claira's gymnastics gym. Fast forward, we basically spent the rest of Saturday late afternoon/evening until about 230 Sunday morning together. Took her and her 6-year-old son to see Black Panther yesterday. Her son's dad is not in the picture, nor will he ever be, so it's a package deal, and I'm good with it. 

Folks here in the office have noticed I'm happy today. Not the fake happy I've been putting out there for the last however many months. Feelings are mutual between us, and she's agreed we'll take it slow. I still have a lot of anger towards Brit and need to work on things with my therapist, but, yeah. Pappy = happy. Never thought I'd be there again.

Love this small family we have here!
