Really hope Piscotty is okay! Oh my goodness was that terrible. Took a knee from the center fielder and got knocked out. Prayers man, that was nasty!!!

Boob what is happening to your Cards? That is some Cubs like stuff going on over there. The last couple weeks have not been kind.

I've said it for awhile that they've played better than what they were most of the year. Don't get me wrong, they are the best team in the NL when fully healthy, but they've played too good with all their injuries. Waino goes down, Holliday has been hurt a lot, Adams for most of the season, and so on. I think it caught up to them and went into a slump. Doesn't help that Yadi is a ? for the playoffs.

Just been a tough year injury wise, just been fortunate that Piscotty and Pham really stepped up with the bat lately. Also, the pitching was crazy good for 4/5 of the season.

I will say as a Cubs fan I would rather play the Cards in a series than the Pirates. Mainly due to how banged up they are. I can honestly say for once I don't know who comes out of the NL. Might be the year the Dodgers do it.

You best wash your mouth out with soap for saying the Dodgers winning it. Disgusting. Yankees of the NL!

I really feel that the NL Central is going to produce the NL Champion.  All the teams are just so much better than those other teams.  I think the Cubs beat the Pirates because of Arrieta being himself.  Then I of course think the Cards beat the Cubs.

But regardless who wins the Mets or Dodgers I think whoever survives the NL Central gauntlet will handle them.  Put the Cubs are and Pirates in those divisions and they both probably win 100 games.  I did the math the other day and the NL Central teams have like a .638 winning percentage against the other 27 teams.

Yeah I like us with Arrieta in a one game of course. The problem for us beyond that is who can lead us?

It's been a fun and unfortunate season. Death of OT, a million injuries, but still managed the best record in baseball and another NL Division Championship.

Biggest question marks:

- Will Heyward Re-sign, and who will play CF and RF?
- Round out rotation outside Waino, Lynn, Wacha, and Martinez?
- Who will play First Base?

I see the Cardinals giving Matt Adams he first crack out of it, but I don't know if he is the long-term solution. I am hoping it will be Piscotty at First, then having Grichuck in Center and Heyward in Right.

I've never been a Peralta fan, so I would like to see the Cards trade him while he has high value.

What do you all think?

Give Heyward the key to the city. Just like when we had Holliday for a year and signed him to a massive contract, it's that time of the decade for the organization to actually get out the checkbook.

Fat Adams is not the long-term solution, and Piscotty has shown real promise. But we won't toss Fatty aside. I hope to see a nice mix between them.

Hated the signing of Peralta. The steroid use was a real turn off. He's been good for us though, but I agree, we should trade him.

Catcher situation scares me. Yadi grew up under Mattheny, and I'm not sure who is coming up under Yadi.

Get Waino healthy and Wacha's head back on straight, and we've got two of the best anchors out there. Pitching seemingly always comes together for the Cardinals, except this series...

Great point about Yadi. We need to start finding a catcher for the future very soon, so he can learn from Yadi. I thought they had accomplished that because they traded for a good catching prospect, but he got hit with his second PED suspension this year so they have to look elsewhere.

My thing with Peralta is he has played really good for us, but they need to trade him why his value is very high. You will get a lot more in return with the trade. I think they will platoon Piscotty at first and some in the outfield. I hope they keep Pham, Piscotty, and Grichuk because Holliday is almost done, we have a CF spot needing to be filled, and who knows about Heyward right now. All three have high upside.

Here's my hope:

1 - Carpenter - 3B

2 - Piscotty - 1B

3 - Holliday - LF

4 - Heyward - RF

5 - Grichuk - CF

6 - Molina - C

7 - Wong - 2B

8 - New Short-Stop

9 - Pitcher

Have Pham, Adams, Cruz, and Greg Garcia as your main bench players. With pitching:

- Wainwright

- Lynn

- Wacha

- Martinez

- J. Garcia

I actually like Garcia, and can be a cheap option with his injury history. There are two good young studs in Lyons and Gonzalez who could take the 5th spot if they ship Garcia. I like 2016 better, and have said that since mid-way through the season.
