Same. Could not afford to give up another goal there. All of them have been too easy for Belgium.

Belgium also just played really smart and disciplined.  They knew they were better and if they didn’t blow it they would probably win.

IMO?

1. The red card was a terrible call.
2. The last minute "appeal" that overturned it was also terrible, transparent, and very not okay.

VAR is officially off the rails. Egypt gets a goal taken away because of a foul that had happened on the entire other end of the field. Only way I can describe that is a team in real football getting a TD wiped off the board because of a holding that happened 5 plays prior.
