As soon as NW took the lead early in the second half and Enright followed it up with a careless turnover, I knew it was over. Their response was slouched shoulders and more carelessness. No one got a look in their eye that they were going to fight, scrap, do whatever it takes to win, while NW’s freshman PG looked absolutely jacked up and locked in… I regret yelling “Make a shot, Reed!” after probably his twentieth consecutive missed bunny/and-one opportunity, but I had seen enough. The only positive I takeaway from this season is DeVries now (hopefully) knows what not to do going forward. Stuhoo 1 Quote
