Maybe I’m totally over reading this presser vs how Cig does pressers but

1) Opens his presser not really discussing IU

2) he never mentions IU til directly asked about Cig. This isn’t OSU/Michigan lol

3) Acts like he doesn’t know anything about IU outside of wins/losses when asked about IU’s 2 year success

4) He hated being asked that last question about IU’s success

Actually… he literally opens his press conference by saying “Happy Thanksgiving week, to those that celebrate.”

It’s not some controversial or sectarian religious holiday. That’s a really awkward thing for anyone to say, whether it’s a football coach or not.

I suppose some Satanists might not celebrate the holiday....that's political correctness on steriods!

Watched the original Men in Black last week with the kiddos, and I’m still not convinced that Barry and the cockroach wearing the 'Edgar suit' are different creatures…

Painful but delicious at the same time! LOL

“Guys, as we step onto our home field for the last time, let’s give these Puredoo fans a reason to celebrate, like some may or may not choose to do for Thanksgiving. WHO CHOOSES TO BE WITH ME?”

During the IU presser, Cig gave more time and effort to be complimentary for Purdump’s efforts than Odum was there. What-A-Dud of a man.

What else would you expect from the king of the toiletmakers?

Shame there’s not one still in Btown for a sign to get an upgrade like this.

Fun fact my wife and I had our first dinner and a movie date there because Upland couldn’t get us in and we were both starving. Then we saw the great gatsby. My wife a huge fan of the director was very disappointed

So is it typical for a team to spend the night in a hotel for a home game?

Yes, but when Purdue does it it’s an effort to find their players a friend

Yea, much easier to babysit them. One of my friends at IU was a manager and had to stay at a hotel in town on Friday nights (forget which one) and make sure no one broke curfew and that was the Randle El days.

Allen’s teams stayed at the dumpy-azz hotel all the way down at the lake. Definitely didn’t have to worry about anyone sneaking out there. Not sure if they’re still staying down there or not.
