Is there a way you can get rid of ads. Every single click I’m getting a fricken ad pop up or drop down window from the top of the screen. It’s becoming very annoying. I don’t remember this being an issue before today or even last week.  It pops up on the full screen and I have to dismiss it every time. It’s not like your normal embedded ad(s) that show up on the page like between posts or at the end or whatnot.

I can’t turn off ads lol. If you don’t want them, download an adblocker.

@CrossboneIU22 you may have better luck with the Firefox browser instead of Chrome/Safari if you're on mobile.

I don’t care about having ads, I get it, need to make money to support the site but it’s that they are popping up on my screen every time I touch the screen it seems. I don’t recall it being this bad before today. I didn’t know if something happened with the site today or something?  Thanks for the replies all.
 

And yes I do realize that was actually what my first sentence said but I really just meant so many or the technical type of ads (not content, I know you have no control over that).

missed your initial question, yes they have been like this as far as I can remember. The drop downs are crazy on my iPhone, not as bad on Mac book.  The ones in-between switching pages is ridiculous on the iPhone, not as bad on Mac book.

Thanks all. I downloaded an ad blocker for Safari and the ads are gone. Hope it’s not a trial version. Thanks again.

I started using Duck Duck Go as my browser and I don't get popup ads any more just like they advertise.
