Different triggers matter to different kids. McNeeley went on and on in interviews about the Whataburger thing they did for him. I don’t remember what it was anymore, but they did something on Jakai Newton’s visit that his mom lost her mind over. For other things that we rightfully question, their visit prep is normally spot on.

I think that was an Adam Howard thing.  I'm pretty sure he was behind a lot of that type stuff in recruiting.

I imagine there are less photogenic dad’s, I assume that’s who that is,  but not many.

He may wonder if he's the father, and if so, then that could explain the lack of enthusiasm.  If my son outgrows me by 2 feet, then it might raise some questions and concerns in my head...so, I get it.
