Hoosiers clinch the weekend series with a 6-1 win.  Foley pitched 6 innings of 1-ht ball; walked 4; struck out 7; threw 93 pitches.  Bothwell came on in the 7th and gave up a run on 3 hits.

We had 12 total hits; 4 for extra bases.  Pyne, Cerny & Stadler each with 2 hits.  Stadler our RBI leader today with 2.

Best development today was Foley being able to give length with nearly 100 pitches and six innings. If he can do that all year and Risedorph can eventually, you finally have legitimate Friday and Saturday starters who can eat the innings you need in a given weekend and not tax the bullpen. That is my only concern for this season and hopefully that duo can keep this up and put it to bed.

SERIES SWEEP!

LOL  I fell asleep somewhere while it was a 4-3 ballgame and missed the 7-run fireworks in the 7th inning and 4 more runs in the 8th.  14 Hoosier hits on the day.  Taylor and Colopy each 3; Mathison, Tibbits & Brenczewski each 2.  Colopy had a grand slam and 5 RBIs; Taylor had 2-HR and 4 RBIs; Brenczewski 3 RBIs.

We used 6 different pitchers.  Phillips was relieved by Kraft in the 4th and Kraft gets credit for the win.

Tuesday night we host Purdue Fort Wayne.  Next weekend we're in Frisco, TX for the Frisco Classic and will face Alabama, Dallas Baptist and Arizona.

15-5 win today to sweep the series. Is Baylor usually any good? Nice to be winning games in February.

Baylor is typically a fringe top 25 program that has slumped pretty significantly the last couple years.
