He is the answer to our lack of guard depth.

And he needs to come off the bench when he is activated until the staff is confident he’s 100% healthy but knowing how CMW works, he’ll immediately insert him into the starting lineup. I hope that is not the case though.

But wasn’t that in November?  Teams improve as the season goes on.  I believe they won 6 in a row before we beat them!

Not making excuses for IU poor performance but Morehead is the pre season pick to win their conference so a pretty solid team.

and they were the odds makers pick to lose by 11 to Indiana...

He will start when he is healthy and should. What reason would he come off the bench?

As soon as he comes back until he is fully healthy, I thought I stated that.  He needs to last until the end of the season”.  He’s prone to injuries of late, CMW needs to milk his playing time so he makes it to the end.  We need him back for depth reason more than anything else.

If St John’s season ticket holders package include these games then it’s going to be counted as home games.    IUs situation was that it wasn’t included in season ticket holders package.    Either way IU needs to appeal that game to get it counted as a neutral court game

I know, it just seems silly that the difference between home/neutral is a season ticket package.

IUs scheduling this year was actually what people wanted.

Precisely for the reasons we wanted it too.

1) We still win the games, although they’ve been very close a couple of times

2) You learn something about the team and test the players more than a layup line vs 300+ teams.

3) The non con SoS stays solid even when a couple teams are unexpectedly down.

As ugly as some of those wins were, having won them were arguably better off than just covering up our flaws by playing the dregs of D1. Fixing the schedule is one of my favorite things Woody has done so far.

It also looked better in the preseason than it does at this point. IU can't help that some of the teams aren't as good as expected.

We should beat North Alabama by double digits tonight but of course we all know IU’s trend towards these level of teams.  We have a game coming up after the Christmas break against Kennesaw State. That is definitely a trap game because they are a good team and we may still be asleep coming off the break. They are 9-3 with a 6 game winning streak.  They are projected as a tournament team in the latest Bracketology.  Every team but Army has been decent and provided some sort of challenge.  Woody and company have done a good job assembling a competitive schedule

Kennesaw may be a trap game, but only because it is in between Holidays.  Kennesaw has won its last five games, but the most recent win was against NAIA Bresia College.  Does that one even count?  The win before that was against The Blue Hose (love that name) of Presbyterian. Other wins include Georgia State, USC Upstate, Georgia Southern and Keiser (NAIA) and Oakwood (also NAIA).  Not exactly a fear invoking resume.  But Kennesaw will likely have some random player go off for 30+ as usual in games like this.

Only reason they are projected as a tournament right now is because they are viewed by bracketologist as the auto big for the B1G since they are technically leading the conference at 2-0.  They are not currently projected to be an at-large team meaning if they were not leading the B1G they would probably fall behind the next 4 out field of teams.

Even then, the auto bid goes to the league tournament winner, not the standings winner.

Definitely just for bracketologist early in the year the only way to account for the auto bid is to use the conference leader so when they build an early bracket they can get the right number of at-large teams.    Having a true seed list shows where they would actually fall and most have them in the 50’s.  Behind teams like Princeton,  Drake, James Madison, Grand Canyon etc
